The idea of creating a protective in Torremolinos arises from Manuel López and Carmen Marín which collected animals in their home and always being powerless to the number of animals that needed help was created the Association for the protection and animal welfare Park Animal in 1996, entered in the Register of Associations of Andalusia with the number 3638. In addition to maintaining contact with several animal welfare associations in Spain and other countries, is a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) since September 1999

 

 

 

Once approved, the Association requested the land required for the construction of the hostel, which were granted in full by the municipal mayor chaired by HE. Torremolinos Town Hall D. Pedro Fernández Montes, opened our facilities on July 8, 2001, after many activities undertaken in collaboration with partners and supporters for funds to undertake the works.

 

Since that time we have lacked the support of animal lovers and have successfully expanded our facilities with the consequent increase in animals rescued and saved so grateful to all those who gave their support and we look forward to receiving it in this work is to save and protect our animal friends.
